Supporting children and young people through complicated grief
March 28 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm| £85
The term “complicated” refers to factors that interfere with the natural grieving process. Traumatic losses due to accident, murder, manslaughter or suicide, can cause children to get ‘stuck’ in their grief so that it dominates their life instead of receding into the background over time. Our experienced trainers will help you to explore how, as a professional who works with children, you can offer effective support to help them on their way to recovery.
This course aims to
- Provide a thorough understanding of complicated grief
- Explain the impact this type of grief may have on a child and their family
