Five fabulous festive fundraising ideas!
It’s time to have some festive fun with your family, friends and colleagues and raise much needed funds for Jigsaw South East in the process! Fundraising for us this Christmas will give us a flying start to 2026, knowing we can be there to support families at a time they need us most. We want children and young people who are bereaved or facing the death of a loved one to know that their future can still be bright.
But we can’t do it without your help!
Here are five simple suggestions for getting involved, either on your own, as a family, with your school or colleagues. There are so many ways to fundraise for Jigsaw South East this Christmas:
1. Ask for a donation instead of a gift
If you feel like you already have everything you need, please consider asking for donations to Jigsaw South East instead of a gift. It’s easy to set up a fundraising page here.
2. Host a sparkle day
This year, as part of our Light the Way Christmas appeal, we’re asking local schools, work places and organisations to go bright or go home. In return for a small donation to Jigsaw South East students or staff to wear something bright, shiny or sparkly to show bereaved children and young people that their future can still be bright! Host a Sparkle Day!
3. Host a raffle
Download our guide to hosting a raffle and raise money for Jigsaw South East at your workplace, sports club or online.
4. Skip secret Santa
Ask your colleagues to skip another gift swap of socks or candles and encourage them to make a donation to Jigsaw South East instead. Perhaps a fiver could ‘buy’ a song to play at the Christmas party or pay for a Christmas music amnesty hour in the office…
5. Be a wrapper this Christmas!
Offer your services to wrap Christmas presents for your neighbours, colleagues or local community in return for a donation to Jigsaw South East.
Share your achievements
Once you’ve completed your fundraising, don’t forget to tell you friends and family what you’ve been up to and why on social media, tag @jigsawsoutheast on Facebook, X (aka twitter) or Instagram so we can see what you’ve been up to!
