Jigsaw Golf Day Raises A Phenomenal £5,000 For Jigsaw

We’re delighted to share that this year’s Jigsaw Golf Day raised a phenomenal £5000 for Jigsaw South East!

Our annual golf day brought together golfers, supporters, sponsors and friends of Jigsaw for a fantastic day of fundraising at the beautiful Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club, West Course.

With sunshine overhead and a stunning course to enjoy, golfers took to the fairways for a day of friendly competition, glorious golfing and plenty of fun. There was also delicious dining to enjoy, along with the chance to win some fantastic prizes and bid on some very special auction lots.

Congratulations to our winners!

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and congratulations to our day’s winners:

First prize – Mandy Cornick, Caroline Spurling, Debbie Orchard and Nicky McGukin

Longest Drive Men – Harvey Cue

Longest Drive Women – Julia West

Nearest Pin – Darren Bradley

Fantastic auction prizes

One of the highlights of the day was our auction, which gave golfers the chance to bid for an unforgettable experience at the Royal Albert Hall.

A selection of fantastic boxes were available to bid on for a range of events, offering some very special opportunities to enjoy one of London’s most iconic venues. We’re incredibly grateful to our generous Teresa and Mickey Davies who donated the auction prizes and to those who placed bids, helping us raise even more for Jigsaw.

A special thank you

We simply couldn’t have made the day such a success without the generosity and support of so many people.

Thanks go to our wonderful sponsors Martell’s, Ashdown Solutions, S4B and Brown & Brown, whose support helped make the event possible.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club for their fantastic hospitality and for helping to create such a memorable setting for the day.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who attended, donated a prize, supported the auction, bought raffle tickets, mulligans and gimmies, volunteered their time or helped spread the word. Every contribution has helped us raise vital funds to support children and young people facing or coping with the death of a loved one.

A special thank you goes to our brilliant volunteers Teresa, Anne and Cecilia, who went above and beyond in helping to organise and support the event. We’re so grateful for all the time and enthusiasm they brought to the day.

A word from Freddie

“Our 2026 Golf Day has been an outstanding success, raising vital funds for Jigsaw South East and showcasing the very best of our community. The remarkable energy, generosity and passion of all our supporters created an atmosphere of laughter, friendship and purpose that made the day truly unforgettable. We are so grateful to all our amazing supporters for making the day the huge success it was!”

Helping Jigsaw be there for children and young people

The money raised through our Golf Day will help Jigsaw continue to provide specialist grief support to children and young people across Surrey and the surrounding areas.

As a small charity, the generosity of our supporters makes an enormous difference. Every pound raised helps us to continue being there for children, young people and their families before, during and after bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Golf Day such a fantastic success.
