Race night raises phenomenal funds for Jigsaw!
Drum roll please! We are absolutely delighted to announce that Jigsaw (South East)’s Night at the Races raised a whopping £4400!
Due to the pandemic, our charity race nights have been put on pause since 2019, so it was wonderful to be able to host the popular event once again.
Over one hundred guests filled the Jubilee Centre in East Grinstead, all hoping that luck was on their side and most importantly that we would raise plenty of funds for Jigsaw!
The atmosphere was electric! The bar was flowing, and the crowd cheered as the winning horses crossed the finish line on the big screen for eight nail-biting races. To top the evening off, guests vied for an array of epic prizes in the raffle.

We are thrilled that the event was such a success, it’s always so much fun and so well supported by the local community and businesses. We are so grateful to everyone who came along on the night, and everyone who helped to make the event possible, raising much needed funds for the charity.

A huge thank you to the fantastic local businesses that stepped up to help support the event, with esure and Meridian Finance being the main sponsors, Harbour Fish and Chips and Harbour Fish Bar who generously donated the delicious dinner for free and Paul Boyce Entertainments who provided the race night equipment for free.
And thank you to our incredible volunteers, including regular Jigsaw fundraiser, Doug Bewley who captivated the audience with his excellent MC skills, all the companies who donated raffle prizes and the local businesses who sponsored races.
