Outstanding effort from Tonbridge Grammar School students.

Hever Castle Triathlon
It promised to be a wet and slightly chilly weekend, but the wonderful students from Tonbridge Grammar School didn’t let the weather deter them from volunteering for Jigsaw (South East). With smiley faces all round, they arrived for their shifts at Hever Castle Triathlon, some as early as 6am!
Thankfully, the rain held off and the students got to work in their volunteering roles, registering, marshalling, managing the bag drop station with aplomb. The multisport event weekend featured triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, swim and run races. The students were certainly put through their paces helping to manage the event, but didn’t let the challenge phase them!
We are delighted that 29 volunteers from Tonbridge Grammar School chose to volunteer their time at the event in return for donations to Jigsaw (South East). A huge thank you to the Castle Race Series team for making this possible.

We are so grateful to the Tonbridge Grammar School students and everyone who volunteered at the event! It’s big, busy event but they handled it impeccably. Thank you so much for taking time out of your weekend to help make a difference for local bereaved families.
