The sun comes out for Jigsaw (South East’s) AGM and Away Day

Jigsaw (South East) bereavement charity was delighted to welcome East Grinstead Mayor, Councillor Danny Favor, Della Skeates of The Charles Lewis Foundation and Roger Gwatkin, the East Grinstead Town Promotions officer, to our AGM on 9th July.
They joined our Trustees and Management team which started with an overview of the past year and planning for the future. It was also an opportunity to acknowledge the vital work the charity does to support children and young people who are bereaved or facing the loss of a loved one.
The annual Away Day followed on and the Jigsaw (South East) staff and Trustees took part in productive small group sessions looking at a range of issues and much knowledge sharing.
Jigsaw (South East) Operations Manager, Nickey Price said:
“We are a small charity and reliant on grants, fundraising and small donations . The AGM was an excellent opportunity to reflect and remember the importance of the work we are doing. It was wonderful that the Mayor, Della Skeates and Roger Gwatkin could join us.”
The day ended with a rounders match in which former England squash player and chair of the Trustees – John Treharne – professed he would not be very good, before casually hitting the ball beyond the moon!
