Volunteers are the lifeblood of Jigsaw (South East)

Dear Jigsaw (South East) Volunteers,
As I write from my desk at home, I’m thankful for the health of my family, thankful that the country has pulled together during this ongoing pandemic, and thankful for the sun!
I am also grateful that Jigsaw (Southeast) has been able to keep the doors open and carry on providing support to our children, young people and their families, albeit in a very different way.
It’s National Volunteers Week and we are delighted to celebrate the vital work you do with us. Volunteers are so important to Jigsaw; from fundraising, to Grief Support groups to office admin, you help the wheels of our charity to keep turning!
Although the coronavirus pandemic has stopped many of the things we would usually do and groups are suspended at the moment, so many of you have still managed to find inventive ways to support us. THANK YOU.
The need for your help has changed and it’s very comforting to know that you are all there and willing to muck in where possible. As volunteers you really are the essence of our charity and we could honestly, not do it without you.
Keep safe and best wishes,
Sarah Dodson
Service and Volunteer Coordinator
