Jigsaw (South East) is delighted to introduce our latest team members.
Vanessa Ralph and Diane Bridges are our two newest Volunteers. Diane has been a nursery school practitioner for over 25 years, developing strong links with both children and parents. She also has some experience within her own family, supporting young children through their bereavement process.
Sharon Wright has been a group volunteer with Jigsaw since 2016, and has now become a Grief Support Worker. For the past fifteen years Sharon has worked in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant and in 2017 became a qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA).
In her new role she will be supporting families and facilitating groups. We are elated that Sharon has joined the Jigsaw staff and we value the difference she will continue to make, working closely with our families.
Dramatherapist Katie Stratton joins Sharon in the Grief Support Team. For the past 12 years Katie has worked in the charity and education sectors, as well as privately with young people and their families.
She has wide ranging experience running child development workshops for parents, and in delivering staff training on therapeutic approaches to working with children.
Marie McKenzie started in May 2020 in a new role as Finance and Resources Manager. She has been working in finance for 23 years in the security industry but before her finance career, worked as a carer for the Alzheimer’s Society, providing respite and support to families.
This is Marie’s first charity role, but she’s volunteered for many fundraisers over the years and had fun falling out of aeroplanes, abseiling from buildings and taking part in a variety of charity running and walking events.
It is wonderful that Diane, Vanessa, Sharon, Katie and Marie have joined Jigsaw (South East) during the most unprecedented of times. We welcome them to the fold.
