Working to End Suicide

Every 90 minutes in the UK, a life is lost to suicide. It’s the biggest killer of people under 35 and affects people from all walks of life. Tuesday 10th September is Suicide Prevention Awareness day. The campaign is a joint collaboration between the World Health Organisation, the World Federation for Mental Health and the International Association for Suicide Prevention.
In the UK The National Suicide Prevention Alliance raises awareness of the actions individuals can take to help or support someone who is struggling, which together can help to prevent suicide. You can find more information HERE.
If suicide has impacted on your family this Child Bereavement UK film gives guidance about how to support your child.
