Be part of something amazing and take on the iconic Brighton Marathon 2026 for Jigsaw South East!
By running for Jigsaw South East, you’ll be making a huge difference to children and young people who are facing or coping with the death of a loved one. We have a limited number of free charity places available, so don’t delay!

Our support
As a Team Jigsaw runner, you’ll receive your own Jigsaw running vest and ongoing support from the JSE team. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions, share your fundraising page with our supporters and will be there to cheer you across the finish line on the day!
Why Run for us?
In the UK, every 20 minutes a parent dies leaving dependent children*. We need your support to ensure that we can be there for every local child and young person who needs us.
One runner who previously ran the Brighton Marathon as part of Team Jigsaw is Carrie Overton. Carrie is a local Sussex runner but hadn’t taken on a marathon distance before. We asked Carrie why she wants to run to raise awareness and funds for Jigsaw South East and this is what she told us…
“My husband died of cancer in February 2013, when my son was only just 4. We received amazing support from Jigsaw, he still has his box with his memory jar and other things he made. It was good for me to meet other widowed parents too. I wish I had been able to access support during the terminal stage of his illness, which was so scary and bewildering. Running the Brighton Marathon and raising £1485 for Jigsaw South East was a privilege and an incredible experience.”
