Using Books and Resources to Support Children and Young People’s Grief – Online Information Event

October 14 @ 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm

Jigsaw South East run termly online information sessions to help professionals support bereaved children and young people and those facing the death of a loved one. Our next session is due to take place on Wednesday 14 October, 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm.

Using Books and Resources to Support Children and Young People’s Grief

This free information session will introduce some useful books, resources and activities which can be used to help support Children and Young People who are bereaved or facing the death of a loved one. This is timely with the new mandatory requirement for English schools to cover topics of grief, death and bereavement in the curriculum.

We can help you in identifying which books and resources offer a valuable and sensitive way to communicate with children of different ages. As well as details of creative ways to enable them to talk about a loved one and to process their grief feelings.

We will also share how Jigsaw South East can support you and other professionals to best meet C&YP’s grief needs. You can learn more about our new training modules too.
