Jigsaw (South East) sends a huge thanks to the Reigate and District Soroptimist club for their kind donation of £300 to the bereavement charity.  The branch is part of Soroptimist International, which is a global volunteer movement, working to transform the lives of local women and girls through Education, Empowerment and Enabling opportunities.

Last year our young ambassadors, Hannah logo-2and Molly, visited Reigate to share their stories and talk about the ongoing support they had received from Jigsaw (South East).

However, sadly it has just been announced that the branch is about to close its doors for good.  Alison Woodhouse, Reigate Soroptimist Club President, said:

“We are sorting out the distribution of our remaining funds and club members voted to make this donation to Jigsaw.

“We wanted to do something to support young people and had been so impressed by the charity’s achievements, so well-illustrated when Hannah and Molly visited us last year.”

Jigsaw (South East’s), Operations Manager, Nickey Price said:

“We are very grateful for this donation, but accept it with a heavy heart, as the branch is closing down. The Soroptimists have done such valuable work and will be missed in their community.”
