Jigsaw (South East) Family Day Receives A Helping Hand

Jigsaw (South East) is delighted to have received a cheque from the Charles Lewis Foundation for £1800. The money will be put to great use next weekend, at our annual Summer Barbecue for families who attend the Preparing for Loss, and Grief projects.

Jigsaw (South East) Operations Manager, Nickey Price said:

“We thank the Charles Lewis Foundation for their generosity. The Summer Barbecue on 22nd June, will hopefully be a fun day out for all, a time to talk and share, and will bring some much needed respite to the many families attending.

“We are a small bereavement charity, working across Surrey and West Sussex and these kind of donations enable us to support children and young people and their families, through very difficult times.

“Last year, with the aid of the Charles Lewis Foundation, three families were able to attend Jigsaw (South East) group sessions. We are truly thankful for CLF’s ongoing support.”

Based at East Court Mansion in East Grinstead since 2012, Jigsaw (South East) charity offers support to children and young people who have a family member with a serious, life-limiting condition. It also provides grief support to children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant family member through illness, accident, suicide or murder (through groups in Reigate, Guildford and East Grinstead).
