Sun and lots of Fun at the Jigsaw (South East) Family BBQ

Sun And Lots Of Fun At The Jigsaw (South East) Family BBQ

“We loved all the activities and had a really fun afternoon.” That was just some of the amazing feedback from one of the 30 families who joined Jigsaw (South East) staff and volunteers in Reigate for our annual Family Summer Barbecue.

The sun shone down on the ninety plus guests, all of whom had attended  a Jigsaw (South East) Preparing for Loss or Grief project. Family_BBQ_2019A magician, face painting, dance sessions, reflexology, a football skills workshop, Indian head massage and arts and crafts were just some of the many delights on offer alongside a Barbecue banquet.

The afternoon gave some much needed respite to families who were able to talk, share and relax.  Jigsaw (South East’s) Business Manager, Carolyn Steer said:

“It was lovely to hear the peals of laughter and see a lot of happy children. We would like to thank everyone who helped make this day special. It couldn’t have happened without the support of so many people and local businesses.

“The Charles Lewis Foundation generously donated £1800 specifically for the day and Jigsaw (South East) staff, volunteers and friends all ensured it was perfect.”

Jigsaw (South East) thanks everyone involved for their support:
