Training for Professionals Supporting Grieving Children and Young People
At Jigsaw South East, we provide specialist training for professionals who support grieving children and young people.
Training is a key part of our work and one of our six PIECES aims – Empowering through Education. We understand that supporting a grieving child or young person can feel complex, particularly for professionals in education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector.
Our training is designed specifically to:
- build confidence
- develop practical skills
- provide clear, evidence-informed approaches to supporting bereavement
Our child-centred model places the needs of the young person at the heart of everything we do. Alongside offering direct support to bereaved children, young people, and their families, we deliver training that strengthens the network of support around them. This includes training for teachers, school staff, healthcare professionals, and those working in family or community settings.
