Charity Director

Hybrid Role | 21 hours per week | £22,800 (Full time equivalent is 35 hours/£38,000)

Are you a proven leader, with charity experience and enthusiasm for our vision? We are seeking a Charity Director to take our strategy forward; we are aiming to reach all children and young people in our local communities who need our support through their bereavement journey and extend the range of services we can provide. This is a broad role in a growing organisation with limited resources, it involves a mix of operational, strategic and external facing activities.

If you have skills in income generation, fundraising, relationship building, managing a small team of dedicated staff and managing limited resources to provide the largest impact for our children and families – this could be the role for you!

Volunteer Role | Quarterly meetings (with some additional ad hoc meetings)

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Jigsaw South East achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that Jigsaw (South East) has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision.

We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our trustee board. We welcome a range of skills relevant to our charity.

We are particularly looking for people with experience in

  • Finance and accounting
  • Fundraising
  • Digital

We meet quarterly at East Court Mansion, East Grinstead with some additional ad hoc meetings.
