Speeding to success – our speed quiz raises thousands to help support children through bereavement.
Over 110 attendees joined us for our Fish & Chips Speed Quiz, to put their knowledge to the test and raise thousands of pounds for Jigsaw (South East) in the process! A phenomenal £3144.65 was raised in total to support children and young people through the death of a loved one.
The drinks flowed as people snapped up tickets for our raffle, filled with amazing prizes from a host of local businesses and prepared for the quiz to begin. Speed Quiz Rob certainly put the quiz teams through their paces as he questioned them on everything from Bridget Jones to bog snorkelling (yes, it really is a sport)! There was even a super tricky film round with scenes recreated using Lego figures! Guests tucked into a delicious fish and chip supper kindly donated by the team at Harbour Fish & Chips shortly before the final few rounds of the quiz commenced. Attendees’ enjoyed singing along to all the classics, with a round of musical bingo, as they apprehensively waited for the winning team to be announced.
The winners were finally revealed as Creepy Crawlies with an incredible 606 points (and a whopping 145 point lead). They were presented with beautiful hamper and their winner certificates, which they displayed proudly as their photograph was taken.

What an amazing evening! We are so grateful to everyone that supported the Speed Quiz, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the evening and to hear the impromptu singing during the music bingo. Thank you to all event sponsors, to our host Rob Marsh AKA Speed Quiz Rob, to those who donated raffle prizes and also to Harbour Fish & Chips, who so generously donated the food for the event again this year. The whole evening was a testament to the community support for Jigsaw (South East).
