We are ready
The trustees of Jigsaw (South East) are pleased to confirm that the charity is now…
The figures are now in and an astonishing £9600 was raised at the tenth annual Jigsaw (South East) charity ball, which took place at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells at the end of March.
Eighty-five guests attended to support the East Grinstead based charity’s work with bereaved children and their families. Dressed to impress they enjoyed a three-course meal prepared by The Spa Hotel’s award winning chefs.
There was great excitement throughout the premium raffle and live auction where guests vied to win a range of prizes. The dance floor was packed as everyone pulled out their moves and got down to the live music provided by the energetic, three-piece party band Hold Tight.
VIER Studio kindly donated their time and photography skills to take many beautiful pictures of the partygoers, in exchange for donations to Jigsaw (South East).
Sophie Bewley, the charity’s Fundraising Co-ordinator said:
“The night was great fun and an incredible success. We thank all of our guests and sponsors – Rubicon Interiors, Unique Technical Solutions, and SES Water for making our tenth anniversary ball so special. The money raised will enable us to continue and expand the grief support services we provide for children and young people across Surrey and Sussex.”
Based at East Court Mansion in East Grinstead since 2005, Jigsaw (South East) offers support to children and young people who have a family member with a serious, life-limiting condition. It also provides grief support to children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant family member through illness, accident, suicide or murder (through groups in Reigate, Guildford and East Grinstead).
