Money For Old Clothes

Local family bereavement charity joins up with Clothes for Charity

Family bereavement charity Jigsaw (South East) has joined Clothes for Charity – an organisation that makes it simpler and for friends and family to donate unwanted clothes to help us fund our support for grieving families or those facing the loss of a loved one through serious illness.

At www.clothesforcharity.org.uk, you can choose to donate to us direct or request a secure and trackable donation bag, which will be collected by Clothes for Charity from wherever’s convenient for you. They’ll even send you an email telling you it got there safely.

Janey Treharne, Business and Development Manager for Jigsaw (South East) said:

“As a small local charity, we are constantly seeking new and creative ways to fund our work with grief-stricken children and young people, and those facing the death of a loved one through serious illness.

This simple, secure way of donating clothes will certainly help – the more clothes donated, the more great work we can do.”
